Every artist dips his brush in his own soul and paints his own nature into his pictures.

I'm Dyna Fe Quilnet, a Visayan artist (b.1997) based in Dumaguete City, Philippines. I'm a Fine arts student in Foundation University. I love making art, it became my passion. In my College days, I have been exploring different kinds of medium in making my artworks and expressing my ideas, like pincel, charcoal pincel, watercolor, acrylic, oil paint, 3d installation and photograph. For now I'm trying to find the medium that I'm comfortable and can express my emotion. My professor Takeshi Maruyama introduces me to clay sculpture. I did not expect that I will it work because my main focus is to learn painting that time. Now I found a new medium to work on and that is clay. I have a hard time working with clay at first, but I love what I am doing with it. The process in making is really interesting, and it is amazing to make something out of nothing.

I was fascinated by the human figure and the emotion that it portrays by changing orexaggerating the parts of the human body. Every part of the sculpture has its own
significant meaning to it, and has its own reality. When I'm making a series of work I
want to make a story out of it, not just make a statement to that one concept but make a
story to that concept and have each art works (sculpture) like a chapter (page) of a book.
